Approximately 1.84 million people are experiencing high levels of acute food insecurity, with nearly 133,000 individuals facing catastrophic conditions. The ongoing conflict has devastated agricultural infrastructure, leading to widespread malnutrition, especially among children. More than 60,000 children require treatment for acute malnutrition, a situation exacerbated by the destruction of healthcare facilities and the blockade limiting access to essential supplies.

In response to the dire situation, various humanitarian organizations have intensified their efforts to provide relief. As of mid-January 2025, approximately 640,000 cooked meals are being distributed daily to families across the Gaza Strip through community kitchens. However, the scale of the crisis necessitates sustained international support and the lifting of restrictive measures to facilitate the unimpeded delivery of aid.
